1868 and 384, so it hasn't boosted Vodafone Vodems yet

As I thought, not every one will get upgrade today, you will be upgrade at the end of you billing/bandwidth month.

Using this speedtest, I used to get 3450 down and 124 up. Today I get ....... 3640 down and 124 up.

Also, today (26th) is my billing date, but my usage has NOT been reset.

Whoosh/quicksilver orbit plan

was getting 3410/126
now 3810/120

So d/l is apparently a bit faster and u/l a tad slower. possibly the variation means nothing at all since it might just be the time of day

Strangely enough I thought access was running slower than usual before I did the tests - pages seemed to be 'hanging' for a sec before loading. Maybe I'm imagining things.

Now downloading at 2.23Mbits/sec - and that's the max the line can handle anyway, so no change expected there. Cap seems to have changed to unlimited (Go Large).

[edit]
For those interested in testing P2P speeds, this torrent has been consistantly fast for months, and so would be a good test. This was what I tested to get the above speed - it was a 30 minute average.

For those wondering what the torrent actually is - it's the Knoppix 5.0.1 DVD ISO.
