Default Does your broadband feel unleashed yet? Join Geoff's test

B-Day has arrived. October 26 marks the day Telecom turns the taps on full, giving us all the maximum speed internet connection its pipes will allow. How's it working out for you? Join those leaving comments after Geoff's blog here.

Tell us what speed you're clocking, and see how others are going.

Just tested mine and wow believe it or not....no change 2048 down and 520 up. I'm on the xtra pro ultra plan and I've never seen anything faster than this and no change today. They also havn't updated my monthly cap from 40GB to the new 50GB limit? Still in the Broadband dark age. Just for the record i'm located in Bayswater about 3km from the exchange.

speed unchanged as yet.....more likely to be changed on my account anniversary which is 23rd next month lol.......hardly gonna matter anyway 3.5mb is fine as far as I'm concerned....so what if i can download some files faster...hell it's fast now anyway......and cruising the web......well ....i doubt I'll care if a page loads a few microseconds faster....

My Router still says 4288 but then I look further in the settings and it says the attainable rate is 6388 or something so when xtra pulls finger I should be able to get this speed hopefully if not im gonna ***** about it

Don't see any upload test, but on the download, It varies from 1680kbits/s to 5860 kbits/s. 1000 was my previous limit and average so it looks good 2 me.
