Wainuitech,
I went to download Adaware Free from Lavasoft and when it was downloading I noticed that it was going to be around 6 hours to download 122MBs.
I was going to put it on an older computer (Win ME with 64MB RAM)
I am pretty sure it was the correct one too! So, not sure what was going on there. Gave up anyway, couldn't be bothered with that.
Maybe I should re check that?

LL

I went to the Ad aware site - trial downloads I was looking at the Paid versions.

You are correct -- the free version from Download . com is 122MB.

Product comparison

Strange how the pro, which meant to have more features is less in size ??

I will wait till I get more RAM into the computer and then try it again, as I think that it recommends minimum 512MB.

Cheers, LL

I checked here.

At the moment I'm using MSE plus Win 7 Firewall and a couple of other things.

Did you ever give Comodo a run on that drive?
