Something like this would be ideal, if it didn't cost to reply:
http://www.tapatalk.com/

Kind of defeats the purpose, the forums are essentially read-only unless you fork out $5 for the Pro client

Im using a telecom R6 so it'd have to be accessible from that.

You're kidding, right? The R6 looks more like a candybar feature-phone than a smartphone; I seriously doubt it'll have a real browser.

The closest you're likely to get is Opera Mini - there's no way you can reasonably expect to access the forum natively from that phone with anything approaching decent functionality.

This forum is annoying enough on an Eee PC 701.

I doubt reading huge threads\posts on a mobile phone would result in anything other than pain and suffering.

But what do I know? I don't have one...

It works quite well on most smartphones already (better than the EEE, because smartphone browsers can usually reflow content; the EEE can't), although the ads are depressingly intrusive, and it would work much better with a proper mobile theme - which is what Chill's talking about getting.

Feature phones are another story entirely - I have never met a feature phone that had a real browser, and as such I suspect trying to make PressF1 work on one would be something only a masochist would want to attempt.

If you mean the likes of a nokia N95 as a feature phone, then yes it is truly horrible to surf the web on

The N95 would normally be considered a smartphone, although not a very capable one by today's standards. By a 'feature-phone', I mean this.

PF1 on a Cellphone has a *lot* of potential. The problem is, as mentioned, the ads and additional fluff. Having something formatted nicely for the applicable screens would make a world of difference

You could go for a separate url and have a slimmed down version of the site like http://m.trademe.co.nz/
